KB4474419 and KB4489878

For some unknown reason, KB4474419 and KB4489878 failed to install automatically on Windows 7 SP1 x64 and Windows Server 2008 R2 x64, respectively. One client was unable to install KB4474419 and two servers had issues with KB4489878.

After struggling for a while, I opted to download the updates and installing them manually. Go to https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/ and search for KB4474419 and KB4489878.

If you use IE11, you should be logged in as the user Administrator and accept to install the suggested plugin due to the peculiar way the download system works. Other browsers do work, but in case an update consists of multiple files, IE11 and the plugin downloads all selected files to the directory you specify.
